Thanksgiving is a perfect holiday to learn about traditions, history and gratitude. I recently made a Thanksgiving Activity Countdown Calendar perfect for toddlers and preschoolers. It features a month worth of fun Thanksgiving inspired activities including crafts, science experiments, exercises to encourage imagination, fine/ gross motor skills, math activities and more. All activities require little to no prep work and can be done with things you already have around the house or can acquire easily and on a budget.
You can assemble your calendar the same way as I have done my Halloween Calendar or use the activity cards in any way that suits you. For young toddlers I would probably use ten to fourteen days of a countdown and for preschoolers the full month would be fine. Whether you are a parent or a teacher and want to do activities with one child or groups of children, this activity calendar can be adapted to fit your needs and has something for everyone. Print it off once and you can re-use it year after year.
Purchase your own copy from my Etsy shop, Delicious Ambiguity Designs Pretty Printables for $5 USD.
