Reflections Of Motherhood

I recently came across this video called "Reflections Of Motherhood" by Nummies Maternity Bras. They asked moms if they could go back to before their child was born what advice would they give themselves. The video rings so very true to me and I wanted to share it with you. Have a watch and let me know what you think!

Awesome right? Love it! What advice would you give yourself?

  1. What a great video! I would say: Don't be afraid to ask for help!

  2. It made me cry!!! I loved it!
The one advice I would give is breastfeeding will hurt and will be hard, your boobs will never b the same BUT EVERY SECOND WILL B WORTH IT!!!!

  3. That was great! So many truths - loved "google doesn't have kids." lol But bloggers do!

  4. That was awesome! I'd tell myself, "She WILL be beautiful," "You WILL heal from your labor wounds," and "Everything WILL get better after the first 3-4 months." :)

  5. You won't parent the way you think you will...you will parent the way you need to...

  6. I'm another one who cried (don't know what my toddler thought of me!) - must be the pregnancy hormones.

My advice is Take the time to reflect on how far you've come, and repeat the mantra "this too shall pass".

    Thanks for the video!

  7. It's ok if you don't bond with your baby straight away. Life is not a movie. It WILL happen.

  8. This was great! I, too, cried...but I am just 3 weeks postpartum from having my 4th child in 6 years. :) Thanks for posting.

I would tell myself that it's OK to do things differently than your parents did!

  9. Some good words of wisdom. I would say "speak to be echoed and act to be copied".

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I love reading comments and appreciate each and every one. Have a wonderful day & thanks for stopping by!
