Welcome SITSahs!

Today is an exciting day because it is MY day to be the featured blogger over at the Secret Is In The Sauce. If you aren't familiar with SITS it is a great website developed to connect with other bloggers, learn tips for your blog and to help establish an audience. I hope you'll stop over and say hello. I promise that you will be grateful for the support and the lovely comments every day! Thanks to all of you for stopping by My Delicious Ambiguity today and welcome!

Let me tell you a bit about myself:
I am a twenty-something Canadian who used to teach English as a Second Language in South Korea and Thailand. Now I am a stay at home mom to a very busy and clever twenty-one month old boy who keeps me on my toes! We are currently living in Sydney, Australia and trying with great difficulty (and very little success) to not take on the slang or talk like we have marbles in our mouths! When I'm not busy baking, crafting, creating, procrastinating from cleaning, wiping butts and toddler wrangling, I spend my time blogging and so far I'm love every minute of it.

Can you believe I searched everywhere and realized I don't actually have a family photo or a decent picture of my son and I since his first birthday party?! I think my heart just broke into a million little pieces..sigh. So today I'm sharing with you a photo of my cheeky monkey, Kai and a different photo of my partner/ boyfriend/ baby daddy Shun and I:
Isn't he the cutest?

Awww...we're pretty cute too.

If you'd like to know more you can read about why I started this blog, some interesting facts about myself and my new weekly blogging schedule. But seriously, grab a cuppa and stick around. I've got plenty of stories about parenting, crafts and activities for educating your toddlers and preschoolers, tips on parenthood and housekeeping, creative ideas and some awesome free printables that you'll find useful. I also host a party every Tuesday called Tot Tuesdays so if you've got some crafts, activities, tips or recipes for toddlers I'd love it for you to link them up.

If you like what you see you can subscribe via Feedburner, become friends via Google Friend Connect, cast a vote for me on Top Mom Blogs or stalk me on Twitter and Facebook. Thanks again for stopping by, leaving comments and making my day! I really appreciate it. Happy blogging!

  6. What a GREAT resource not to mention a GREAT read. I'm going to be making a lot of stops by here for some ideas for my 2 and 7 year olds. The Peanut Butter and Apple Sushi is just and AMAZING idea. My 2 year old loves to eat some of my sushi (strangely mostly the wasabi too) all the time: hopefully if I make him some of these he will eat his 'sushi' and leave mine to me. THANKS!!!

  7. Congratulations on your SITS day! You have one cute little guy there and I've always really liked the Australian accent. Never heard it described as "marbles in the mouth". That made me laugh.
