To maintain a healthy diet toddlers (aged one to three years) are suppose to consume at least one and a half cups of milk a day and no more than two and a half cup of milk per day. This doesn't sound like much but what do you do when your child isn't interested in milk or goes off dairy completely?
In my house I've come very familiar with my new favorite ingredient: RICOTTA! What started as a way to get my sons milk intake up during those hot summer days here in Australia has now turned into heaps of new family favorite recipes. Today I am going to share them with you. But be warned, reading this post will most likely make you VERY hungry!
Lunch and Dinner Recipes:
So what do you think? Have you tried any of these recipes before? Do you have any other family favorite recipes made with ricotta? Or do you have some other tips and tricks on making your little ones eat dairy? As always I love reading your comments and thank you for all of your input! I hope you've found some meal and snack time inspiration today.
