Mothers Day Gift- No Peeking Mom!

This year for Mother's Day I wanted to make something personal. It had to be small enough to ship in a bubble envelope (I'm in Australia and Mom is in Canada) and not very heavy because shipping anything from here costs a fortune. So this is what I came up with-NO PEEKING MOM!:)


I wrote a poem, printed it out and then I glued it onto scrapbook paper. I decorated the poem with fake flowers and stickers (which all came in a scrapbooking package at the dollar store) and spelled out the title with gold calligraphy stickers that I found at the craft store. I placed it in a frame and wrote a personal message on the back. Here is the final product:



What do you think? I think it turned out great and can't wait for mom to open it on Mother's Day!

  1. "Beauty full". Your mum will probably have tears running down her face when she reads your poem and be so touched by your words. Such a heartfelt gift and one that is bound to be treasured forever. Personalised gifts that you make are always priceless. I think your poem is perfect.
